The Salamanders are a five-piece known for catchy, post-punk-edged rock, playing live across Merseyside since 2000. Back in the rehearsal room and writing new material for 2026.
Formed in 2000, The Salamanders have spent over two decades defining a sound that's uniquely their own — intricate guitar riffs, a thumping rhythm section, and powerful, melodic vocals rooted in the Merseyside scene.
Radio DJs draw comparisons to The Stooges, The Strokes and Joy Division — with an even catchier edge. Tracks have featured on Liverpool Football Club match days and LFCTV.
Veterans of the North West live circuit: supporting The Doors Alive, headlining festivals in Cumbria, and playing Liverpool's legendary Mathew Street Festival.
Back in the rehearsal room writing new material, with studio time booked for September 2026 — and new Liverpool & Wirral gigs to be announced soon.
