The Salamanders are a Liverpool & Wirral five-piece formed in 2000, playing riff-driven rock with a post-punk edge. Compared to The Stooges, The Strokes and Joy Division, with tracks featured on LFCTV and Liverpool FC match days.
Extended bio
Formed in 2000, The Salamanders have spent over two decades defining a sound uniquely their own — intricate guitar riffs, a thumping rhythm section and powerful, melodic vocals. Veterans of the North West live circuit, they've supported The Doors Alive, headlined festivals in Cumbria, and played Liverpool's Mathew Street Festival. Now back in the rehearsal room, the five-piece are writing new material for 2026, with studio time booked for September.
