Thanks to you all
Massive thanks to everyone that came down or voted for us for the surface unsigned festival in Manchester – we’re through to the next round in May!
Details of the next round will follow.
The Salamanders are a Liverpool/Wirral based Rock band. Karl Bilby – Vocals, Jason Powell – Bass, Adam Powell – Guitar, Mark Johnston – Guitar, Paul Lester/Drums
Likened by some to ‘The Stooges (but more catchy)’ The Salamanders have enough fusion of flavours to satisfy the most discerning earlobe. Having played windswept music festivals in Cumbria and venues across the North West such as 02 Academy, Zanzibar, Jabez Clegg, Barfly, Studio2 Parr Street and The Picket, they have received radio plays from USA, UK, France and Chile to name just a few. HELP!!! The Salamanders are playing the Surface unsigned festival on Monday 8th March at Jabez Clegg in Manchester around 8pm. It’s basically a big countrywide battle of the bands and we’d love to see you all down there showing us some support for the Northwest heat (and voting for us obviously!). If you can’t get down then we really, really need your text votes! The text lines are now open so show how much you love us by texting: North 2054 to the telephone number – 64343 it costs 1 quid but will give us a vote and a chance against the other local bands! Thanks

As the flyer says get your backsides down to Korova on Sunday 28th Feb to see your fave band headline – Better than sitting in doing your ironing!
