About the band

The Salamanders are a Liverpool/Wirral based Breakcore Indie Rock band. The line-up is:

Karl Bilby/Vocals,

Jason Powell/Bass,

Adam Powell/Guitar,

Mark Johnston/Guitar

Paul Lester/Drums

They have been likened by some to ‘The Stooges but more catchy’. Constantly shaking a stick at their own sound, The Salamanders have enough fusion of flavours to satisfy the most discerning earlobe. Having recently played a windswept music festival in Cumbria and playing venues across Liverpool such as The Zanzibar, Barfly and The Picket, The Salamanders continue with their quest to produce a sound that is exclusive to them. Recently signed up to AMM management the band are looking forward to applying some sonic G–force to people at their gigs in 2009.
