About the band

The Salamanders are a Liverpool/Wirral based Rock band. The line-up is:

Karl Bilby/Vocals,

Jason Powell/Bass,

Adam Powell/Guitar,

Mark Johnston/Guitar

Paul Lester/Drums

Likened by some to ‘The Stooges (but more catchy)’ The Salamanders have enough fusion of flavours to satisfy the most discerning earlobe. Having played windswept music festivals in Cumbria and venues across the North West such as 02 Academy,  Zanzibar, Jabez Clegg, Barfly, Studio2 Parr Street and The Picket, they have received radio plays from USA, UK, France and Chile to name just a few. The lads continue with their gigging quest to grow their unique Salamander sound and are due back in the studio in 2010.
